Melissa Chestnut

(She/Her), MSOT, OTRL

Mel is an Occupational Therapist (OT), board certified and licensed in the state of Michigan. She has a master’s degree from Baker College of Flint.

Mel has experience with children, adolescents and adults in various settings with a variety of challenges and abilities including but not limited to; autism, developmental delays, sensory integration/processing differences, ADD/ADHD, dyspraxia, regulation, strength, motor & coordination challenges and other physical and mental abilities. Mel is continuing her studies of sensory and reflex integration, neurosensorimotor therapy techniques, Total Muscle Release for tots and the Tummy Time Method approach.

Apart from OT, Mel enjoys traveling, plants, crocheting, being outside, reading, playing her switch and time with her friends and family.
